The Sunny Day Club at Brentwood United Methodist

The Sunny Day Club® allows caregivers a block of time each week to run errands or rest–whatever they need! Caregivers can also attend a Share and Care Group on the second Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers provide one-on-one attention. They lead singing, exercises, games, and crafts. Training is provided, and volunteers commit to a background check and regular attendance based on personal schedules.

The Sunny Day Club at West End United Methodist Church

The mission of The Sunny Day Club is to provide social interaction, stimulation and friendship in a caring, safe environment for those experiencing early stages of memory loss, as well as provide respite for the caregivers. Sunny Day allows the caregiver a known block of time that they can count on to run errands, grocery shop, rest, etc. just to keep the household going. The members who come get a social outing, physical and mental exercise, acceptance as well as new friends.
